Czech rail freight operator IDS CARGO has introduced a new multisystem Vectron locomotive into its operational portfolio.

The locomotive was delivered at the end of March 2025 and has been leased through Vienna-based Green Mobility Partners.

The new locomotive joins the IDS CARGO fleet under a leasing arrangement with Green Mobility Partners, a company offering full-service rolling stock leasing packages and active across European markets. With this addition, IDS CARGO now operates three Vectron locomotives as part of its regular traction pool, two former ones leased from ELL.

The newest locomotive is expected to be used across IDS CARGO’s service spectrum, ranging from local sidings and terminal operations to longer international freight corridors.

The locomotive joins the company’s lineup based in Ústí nad Labem, from where IDS CARGO coordinates its rail operations.
