In May 2023, EffiShunters 1000 were approved for a test operation on the Swedish network, a necessary step before obtaining full operational approval. CZ LOKO will deliver five of these locomotives for a Norwegian rolling stock leasing and maintenance company, Trainpoint.
The first locomotive (744 144) was delivered to Sweden in winter, whereas RailAdventure transported three more locomotives (744 157, 158 and 159) on 02 June 2023.
Although this is Sweden's premiere customer of these locomotives, there are others. AC Finance, a Railcare subsidiary, ordered five of these locomotives in August 2022, with an option for four more.
