The first departure from Duisburg DGT is scheduled for 22 June, followed by the first departure from Barcelona on 24 June.

Hupac will launch a Duisburg–Barcelona intermodal service on 22 June 2026 with three weekly roundtrips.

The service will connect Duisburg DGT with Terminal Barcelona Combiconnect. Hupac said the Barcelona terminal will act as a rail hub between Spain and other European markets.

The new connection adds capacity on the Germany–Spain corridor and gives customers additional routing options. Gateway connections will be available from Barcelona to Tarragona, Madrid and Seville.

At the German end, the service will offer onward connections from Duisburg to Schwarzheide, Buna and Brwinów. Hupac said further details and timetables are available through its download materials.
