Finnish logistics company Nurminen Logistics is launching a new direct rail freight service between Parma, Italy, and Sweden.

The service, which complements Nurminen’s existing Modena–Sweden route, will be supported by a newly opened local office in Parma. Shipments will be connected to Nurminen’s wholly owned terminal near Örebro, giving the company full control over the logistics chain.

Parma, a major logistics hub in northern Italy, links the country’s industrial regions with central and northern Europe and strengthens northbound connectivity for manufacturers and shippers. The new service will start in week 6 of 2026 with weekly departures and a transit time of just three days.
