On 30 June 2025, a new intermodal rail service began operating between Valenton and Épinal in France.

The train is operated by EURORAIL, in cooperation with its regional subsidiary REGIORAIL Lorraine. It is dedicated to transporting recycled paper for the Norske Skog paper mill in Golbey (Vosges department).

The service revives a logistics link for Norske Skog, one of the key industrial rail freight customers in the region. The Golbey-based facility specialises in newsprint production and has been integrating recycled paper as a primary raw material. The newly launched train route connects the Paris region with the Vosges area, running under the multimodal model.

Valenton, located in the Île-de-France region, functions as a strategic logistics hub with multimodal facilities. Épinal provides access to the industrial site in Golbey, supporting domestic paper transport chains.
