The units, configured for Austria, Germany, and Italy, were presented during a handover event at the premises of DPB Group Rail Technical Service in Krieglach, Austria.
The locomotives are Siemens Vectrons supplied by Railpool and leased to Adesso Rail. The visual appearance was completed by CFdesign, with wrapping finalised shortly before the presentation. The design was developed by Marie-Therese Abart.
Both locomotives are now in use, serving unspecified clients and partners. They are equipped for international freight operations across central and southern Europe, focusing on the Austria–Germany–Italy corridor.
Adesso Rail presents itself as a new player with an orientation toward digitalisation and environmental goals. With a small fleet and newly launched operations, the company positions itself for activity in cross-border rail logistics. Further fleet expansion has not been disclosed.
