Tesmec has signed two contracts worth a total of EUR 71m with SŽ-Infrastruktura for the supply of 21 railway maintenance vehicles in Slovenia.
Under a contract valued at approximately EUR 52m, Tesmec will supply 15 rail vehicles for infrastructure maintenance. A second contract worth around EUR 19m includes six catenary maintenance vehicles, among them a hybrid unit equipped with battery technology designed to reduce emissions and noise.
The vehicles are intended to support infrastructure management, maintenance and safety in line with European standards. The order extends Tesmec’s rail activities outside its domestic Italian market and builds on the group’s modular maintenance platform developed for multiple European markets.
SŽ-Infrastruktura is responsible for traffic management, maintenance and operation of Slovenia’s public railway network.
