Our focus is on the provision of regional railway infrastructure, its operation and maintenance in Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt.

Through a steady network expansion of the infrastructure, Regio Infra Nord-Ost now has the south-north connection between (Berlin-) Neustadt / Dosse - Pritzwalk - Karow (Meckl) - Priemerburg (Güstrow - Rostock) as well as the west-east connections Karow (Meckl) - Waren (Müritz) and Neustadt (Dosse) - Löwenberg (Mark) as well as other lines in the existing network.

Due to its location, the extensive railway infrastructure network of Regio Infra offers railway companies the possibility of alternative routes along the north-south main lines. In particular, optional routes can be offered for the Stendal - Wittenberge, Waren - Neustrelitz and Berlin - Baltic routes. These thus represent cost-effective connections that may be of interest to RUs.

The infrastructure of Regio Infra is suitable for freight transport as well as for the use of local rail passenger services.

All routes are equipped with freight transport facilities (loading tracks and ramps as well as sidings) to meet the different needs of our customers.

Our route network can be used for wagonloads of route class D4.

The RIN routes are not electrified.
