Ukrainian manufacturer TAS DNIPROVAGONMASH has secured an international order for over 1,500 wagons of various types, following a rigorous month-long evaluation process.
This multi-year project aims to rejuvenate logistic supply chains and stabilize the export of Ukrainian products, including agricultural, metallurgical, chemical, and processed goods. A significant aspect of this project is the production of grain hopper wagons, alongside other models.
The first batch of newly constructed grain hopper wagons has been technically approved by customer representatives and international experts, who have praised the design and innovative improvements.
The project requires the use of high-strength metal that meets international standards, sourced from both Ukrainian and European suppliers.
Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict, the company has achieved self-sufficiency in producing all wagon components domestically.
In addition, the company contributed with tax payment to Ukraine worth over EUR 1.1 million in the first half of 2024.
