From December 2023, FlixTrain will provide up to eight daily services per route, connecting nearly 60 cities. By the summer 2024, they aim to augment the number of trips between certain cities.
The new timetable introduces routes to Bremen, Bensheim, Elsterwerda, Mülheim (Ruhr), Müllheim (Baden), and Schönefeld near Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). Additionally, previously paused destinations such as Offenbach, Mainz, Hanau, and Wolfsburg will be reintegrated by spring 2024.
FlixTrain continues to prioritise speed and convenience. Their service boasts travel durations comparable to ICE, such as a two-hour journey between Hamburg and Berlin. Emphasis is also placed on enhancing direct routes, especially between Germany's east and west, highlighting connections like Hamburg-Leipzig and Heidelberg-Berlin.
Every ticket purchased ensures passengers a guaranteed seat, enhancing the travel experience. FlixTrain's tickets, starting at EUR 4.99, are available for booking for post-December 10th journeys on their official website.
