Deutsche Bahn (DB) and Condor will offer further options for travel to Germany's largest airport in Frankfurt am Main.

In the future, passengers will be able to select train connections that match Condor long-haul flights when booking their flights. The offer can be booked from 21 German train stations.

"With our city flights, we are already able to connect a few hubs in Germany and Europe with Frankfurt, but due to the limited availability of slots, travelling with Condor to our intercontinental flights is only possible to a limited extent. We are therefore pleased to be able to expand our services together with Deutsche Bahn," says Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.

The codeshare allows customers to book their train and flight in a single process, reserve seats free of charge on selected trains, optimise and coordinate transfer times, rebook free of charge in the event of delays.

"We know from past experience that wherever aviation and rail cooperate, we see double-digit growth rates on the railways. We are linking our services in such a way that we can make optimal use of the respective strengths of our modes of transport," adds Stefanie Berk, Head of Marketing and Sales at DB Fernverkehr.

For the journey to and from their long-haul flight from Frankfurt, guests can use the main train stations in Aachen, Basel (Badischer Bahnhof), Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Freiburg, Hamburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Cologne, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich, Münster, Nuremberg, Rostock, Siegburg/Bonn, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg. In addition, for travellers to Dubai from Berlin, Dresden Central Station will also be connected to Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
