This step initiates preparations ahead of scheduled operations beginning on 29 June this year.

At the end of February, Transdev SUD introduced the first Alstom Omneo train onto tracks serving the Marseille-Toulon-Nice route.

The Omneo train has been selected primarily for increased passenger capacity and improved comfort. Upon launch, this rolling stock is expected to double the frequency of trains on this heavily traveled route, providing hourly service throughout the day.

Currently, Transdev SUD is carrying out technical assessments and driver training sessions as part of its operational readiness program. These preparations include trial runs and system checks to ensure reliability and safety from day one.

The Alstom Omneo trains are part of a regional transport project aiming to modernize rail connectivity between key urban areas in southern France.
