Midsea Srl has activated the rail terminal at the Port of Monfalcone, carrying out its first railway operation at the site this week.
The activation follows coordination with the Port System Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea and makes the port’s rail infrastructure operational for Midsea-managed traffic. The connection links the port area to the Italian national rail network, enabling onward distribution by rail.
Midsea Srl is an Italian logistics and shipping company active in port operations, freight forwarding and integrated transport services. Based in Monfalcone, the company handles cargo flows through the Northern Adriatic and develops intermodal solutions combining maritime, road and rail transport.
