The train, operated by the Rail Cargo Hungaria, was pulled by a CRRC Bison locomotive and consisted of 20 tank wagons. After arrival in Subotica, the consist continued towards Novi Sad Ranžirna yard as its final destination.
Freight operations on the Belgrade–Budapest high-speed line will be organised in line with planned rail freight transport schedules in Serbia and Hungary. Initial services will be freight trains, with operations coordinated according to bilateral transport planning.
Serbian Railways Infrastructure confirmed that the infrastructure between Belgrade and the Hungarian border is ready for both passenger and freight services on the high-speed corridor.
