FS Logistix has taken over the Antwerp–Milan train service from Lineas, operating five weekly rotations between Antwerp’s Main Hub terminal and Segrate near Milan.

FS Logistix launched the service in September with Mercitalia Intermodal as the rail operator, while locomotives are provided by Lineas. The train departs from the Main Hub terminal in Antwerp and terminates at Segrate, serving one of Northern Italy’s key logistics gateways.

From Segrate, traffic can be forwarded to additional Italian destinations, including the Pomezia terminal south of Rome. The operator estimates the corridor will remove around 13,000 truck movements from the road network annually.

The Antwerp–Milan link is the first tangible outcome of FS Logistix’s acquisition of a 30% stake in Antwerp’s Main Hub terminal and forms part of the company’s 2025–2029 strategy to expand its European footprint, with potential extensions toward France, Germany and Eastern Europe.
