The first train departed on 7 August 2025. According to the operator, the transit time from loading to delivery is estimated at two days.

A new intermodal rail service connecting the Port of Gdańsk with Dębica has started under the operation of Pol-Miedź Trans. The service has been launched by Maersk in cooperation with Q4Rail and will run twice weekly in both directions.

The route aims to strengthen connections with southeastern Poland and eastern Slovakia. Dębica joins Maersk’s domestic rail network in Poland, which currently includes Kąty Wrocławskie and Sławków.

The new connection includes priority store-door shipments on Maersk bills of lading. These come with dedicated container availability, no triangulation fees, and extended free time at terminals or ports.
