The cargo, consisting of automotive components, is delivered to Allur Company’s production facility — currently the country’s largest automotive assembly plant.

Nurminen Logistics has commenced regular block train services connecting Prague with Kazakhstan's Kostanay region.

Monthly service for automotive industry

The trains operate monthly, carrying parts for vehicle assembly in 40-foot high-cube containers. The shipments are directed to Allur Company, which handles vehicle manufacturing and distribution for brands including Škoda, Chevrolet, and Kia in Kazakhstan. The transport is carried out in partnership with RED STAR LOGISTICS.

The connection was preceded by a trial shipment in January 2025. Following its completion, the service has now transitioned into regular operation.

Trans-Caspian corridor as an alternative to northern routes

The logistics chain relies on the Trans-Caspian corridor, bypassing the Russian Federation. The multimodal route integrates rail and maritime segments, linking Central Europe with Central Asia through the Caspian Sea region. This corridor has attracted increasing interest from companies seeking alternative eastbound freight channels.

Nurminen Logistics has been active on this route since spring 2022. The operator has developed partnerships across ports and infrastructure points to optimise transport times and maintain continuity of service.
