The acquisition, announced on January 22, 2025, signals a strengthened focus on rail connections and expanded services across the logistics network.

Autamarocchi has acquired a majority stake in Dissegna Logistics, a Rossano Veneto-based company specializing in intermodal transport across Europe.

Rail-focused operations

Dissegna Logistics has established itself as a key player in intermodal transport, with a particular emphasis on integrating rail into its operations. Initially a provider of maritime transport to Greece, the company has expanded its network to include rail connections across Europe. Its operations span Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom, where it ensures precise transit times for road, rail, and temperature-controlled logistics.

The acquisition supports Autamarocchi’s objective of reinforcing its position in intermodal transport while leveraging Dissegna Logistics’ expertise in rail-based freight solutions. The integration of the two companies is expected to create new opportunities in the intermodal sector, increasing capacity and service options for customers.
