A joint venture agreement has been signed by Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) and PSA International (PSA), one of the biggest operators of container port facilities in the world.

The document was signed in Astana with the president of the Republic of Singapore present at the Kazakhstan-Singapore Business Forum.

One of the key objectives set by the Head of State, the development of the country's transit and transport potential, is the focus of cooperation with a transnational holding company.

PSA's expertise and technological capabilities will provide additional potential for expanding the geographical scope of transport and connecting Kazakhstan's transport routes to the largest hubs.

The primary focus of the JV will be to promote the growth of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

According to PSA, the combination of resources and experience in this field will help build a seamless and effective logistics network connecting nations and continents, enabling KTZ to expand into new markets and establish itself as a major player in the world of logistics.
