VÍTKOVICE MACHINERY TRADE s.r.o. (VMT) is the most important tolling partner of VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. (VS). At the beginning of May 2022, a framework tolling agreement was concluded. On the basis of this agreement, VMT took over the full financing of the material supply chain and subsequently, from November 2022, VMT also took over the customer portfolio in the metal plates area and the related financing of the respective receivables.
With this move, VMT has become one of the major distributors of heavy plate not only in the Czech Republic but in the entire Central European region.
Thick plates form the majority of the production portfolio and end customers belong to the following industries:

The benefits of VMT's operations in VS are both stabilising the supply of input material and ensuring the normal operation of the rolling mill, as well as attracting new customers, especially "from among" the final metal plates processors.
