Milestones & Network Expansion
- 1999: ChemOil AG founded as SBB Cargo’s specialized rail logistics arm for hazardous goods.
- 2004: Initiated SBB Cargo's first open-access international trains.
- 2006: Launched wagon-load services beyond Swiss borders.
- 2011: Introduced ChemLink, the first alternative European wagon-load network connecting Germany and Italy. Today, they operate from a finely woven logistics network across Europe, leveraging the strengths of their parent SBB Cargo.
