Germany’s rail infrastructure manager DB InfraGO invested more than €19 billion in network renewal and modernisation in 2025. The year was marked by a high construction workload alongside ongoing rail operations.
The financing will be used for rehabilitation works along the corridor, including track infrastructure, workshops, signalling systems and rolling stock.
The procedure covers a 13 km section of Line 85 between Kotowice, in the Brwinów municipality in Mazovia, and the future airport hub.
