The newly awarded contract includes the transport of 16 million tonnes of coal and 2 million tonnes of limestone for the needs of companies belonging to the PGE Group. The contract for the next 30 months is worth over EUR 266.5 million.
PKP CARGO will transport the raw material to power plants in Opole, Rybnik, Dolna Odra and Turów, and heat plants of the PGE Group. The result of this tender is a continuation of a long-term business relation between the two companies, with PGE Group being one of the key customers of PKP Cargo.
