In the first half of 2023, the volume of container traffic handled by KTZ Express JSC amounted to 346 thousand TEU.

This is 2.6 times more than in the same period of 2022. The growth is due to the work carried out to increase the share of KTZ Express JSC (subsidiary of NC KTZ JSC) in all major transit directions (China-Russia-China, China-Central Asia-China, China-Belarus-China).

During the period under review, container trains in the China-Russia direction were organised in gondola wagons with reloading on suitable platforms at Sorokovaya station. This enabled the optimisation of the timetable on the Dostyk-Moiynty section and the reduction of the number of empty gondola carriages. A regular feeder service was launched on the Poti (Georgia) - Constanta (Romania) route, enabling the geography of transport along the CITR to be expanded and goods to be delivered to the final destination in Europe.

The company's customer satisfaction rating rose 6% in the first half of the year to 88%.
