FS Logistix has started new intermodal rail services linking the ports of Genoa and Vado Ligure with Verona Quadrante Europa and Milan Segrate.

The services are designed to transfer maritime cargo directly onto rail, connecting Ligurian port terminals with major inland logistics hubs in northern Italy and onward European markets. The company stated that the initiative strengthens the role of rail within sea-rail freight flows.

The cooperation between FS Logistix and Logtainer has moved towards a more integrated management of terminal-to-hub operations. The new links expand the intermodal portfolio launched in 2025, targeting supply chain and cross-border freight connections.
