Bulgarian Railway Company EAD

Bulgarian Railway Company (BRC), the first Bulgarian private railway company licensed for performing domestic and international freight transport. The company was established in 2004 with 100 % private capital.

BRC EAD is a part of S.C.GRAMPET S.A., the largest private railway and logistics operator in Romania and Southeast Europe.

The scope of activity performed by BRC EAD is freight transport on domestic and international traffic.

The realization of the service is achieved by organizing the means of transport in loaded and unloaded condition by ensuring the movement of the wagons with a suitable train organization in compliance with specific approach to every customer.

The company's ambitions are to keep up with modern trends in freight transport and its leadership in the logistics business is supported by well educated and experienced staff.

Locomotive fleet

The company operates with electric locomotives series 40 and 87 as well and diesel locomotives LDE 2100 CP and DHC 1250 CP. 

Wagon fleet

BRC operates with all types of wagons property of the client or rented ones. As part of GRAMPET GROUP, BRC could ensure different type of wagons though its related parties or through its cooperation with international leasing companies for rolling stock.
