Three TEM18DM diesel locomotives manufactured by the Bryansk Engineering Plant (BMZ, part of Transmashholding) have joined the locomotive fleet of Karelsky Okatysh JSC (a subsidiary of Severstal PJSC) in 2022

TMH Industrial Solutions (TMH PRO, part of Transmashholding) sent three TEM18DM series shunting locomotives to Russia's leading iron ore mining and processing plant. Two locomotives left the factory at the end of May and are already preparing to go on the line. The third locomotive will be handed over to the plant in July.

The TEM18DM shunting locomotive has been manufactured at BMZ since 2007. Throughout the history of locomotive production, BRP has produced about two thousand such locomotives. The locomotive is used for hauling, shunting, and humping work on the tracks of Russian Railways and at industrial enterprises. The TEM18DM diesel locomotive can operate in the regions with the most severe climatic conditions, including those beyond the Arctic Circle. The manufacturer envisages six modifications of the locomotive.

Karelsky Okatysh is upgrading its locomotive fleet with locomotives made by the Bryansk Machine Building Plant. Six Bryansk locomotives are already operating at the plant. They are used for shunting operations at railway stations and for hauling trains to the Kostomuksha-Tovarnaya station.
