The TransCaspian Express will run scheduled on the Altynkol, Kazakhstan – Poti/Batumi, Georgia route three times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Delivery time is estimated to 20 days. From Georgia, the cargo can continue anywhere in Europe.
The opening of this route comes just a couple of weeks after the announcement of the first consignment from Helsinki to Kazakhstan.
Nurminen Logistics has started regular and high-speed container shuttle service from and to Kazakhstan in cooperation with Kazakh State Railways (KTZE) this spring. Kazakhstan serves as a logistics hub, connecting Europe to the huge Asian markets. In 2020, the EU accounted for 29.7% of Kazakhstan's total trade in goods.
