With Tim expected to join the company by late summer 2023, G&W's UK/European operations will continue to be led by interim CEO Becky Lumlock, who is a UK-based operating partner at Brookfield Infrastructure, and Jack Hellmann, who serves as chairman of G&W's UK/European operations and is G&W's global CEO.

Tim Shoveller, who began his rail career in 1992 as a train driver/guard with British Rail, joins G&W after nearly four years with Network Rail, where he led a transformation of the operational performance of the North West Central Route. His career has also included roles as managing director of Stagecoach Group's rail division, managing director of South West Trains / Network Rail Alliance and managing director of East Midlands Trains.
