Pejic wants to focus on strengthening rail freight transport within Austria and Italy and accelerating the internationalization of Mercitalia Logistics.

Dejan Pejic is the new Managing Director of TX Logistik Transalpine GmbH, the Austrian subsidiary of Germany's TX Logistik AG. Pejic replaces Ger Sieberger in the management of the company, who will work as Director of Asset Management & Claims Management at TX Logistik.

Dejan Pejic is an educated train driver and a graduate engineer specializing in railway technology and mobility. He has been working in the rail freight industry for several years and has experience in various rail logistics companies. From April 2017 to October 2018, he was employed at TX Logistik Austria GmbH as Operations Manager and Operations Manager. Subsequently, he moved to Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo, where he worked as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Dejan Pejic intends to focus on strengthening rail freight transport within Austria and Italy, expanding existing connections, developing new relationships, and accelerating the internationalization of Mercitalia Logistics (Gruppo FS Italiane), of which TX Logistik is a part. The management of TX Logistik Transalpine is completed by Johann Eder, who has been with the company since 2015.

In 2020, the activities and resources of TX Austria and TX Italia were merged into TX Logistik Transalpine. The company, based in Schwechat near Vienna, reflects the strategic importance of the Austrian-Italian Alpine axes in the TX network.
