New CEO of Ciech Cargo, the carrier of the Ciech chemical group

Andrzej Pawłowski has been appointed since the beginnig of August.


Andrzej Pawłowski is a long-standing manager in the rail transport industry. He joined Ciech Cargo from CTL Logistic, where he was a member of the Board of Directors.

"I am pleased to announce that I have started a new stage in my professional career. Since 1 August I have joined the strong Ciech S.A. Group, where I have taken the position of President of the Management Board in Ciech Cargo Sp. z o.o.," he wrote on LinkedIn.

Pawłowski has been working for the railway since 1985 when he started his professional career. During that time he has held several management positions, most recently at CTL Logistic. During that time he was a member of the Board of Directors, Sales Director, and Operations Director of PKP Polish Railways.

Andrzej Pawłowski was succeeded in this position by Maciej Kempski. He continues to work for the company as a member of the Management Board.

CIECH Cargo (formerly Transoda) is a transport company from Inowrocław, established in 2000.  Currently, the company transports, among others, coal, aggregates, and dangerous materials. The company provides rail transport and manages sidings and owns rolling stock.
